We deliver Emergency First Aid at Work Training in Dorchester at your workplace. We can deliver an Emergency First Aid at Work course onsite in workplace for a group of delegates. The course is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Certificated and is valid for 3 years. The course covers the standard EFAW content plus the use of AED defibrillators. The course cost is a group price for any number of delegates from 3 to 12. It is not a per person cost. If you would like a quote for more than 12 delegates, we would need to use more than 1 instructor, so please contact us. This course is designed for lower risk working environments and/or smaller organisations. This is a 1 day course

Summary
The Emergency First Aid at Work (level 2 equivalent) course is a one-day course that will teach you all the skills, knowledge and techniques you need to offer essential emergency medical treatment. You will learn how to manage illnesses and injuries effectively until the paramedics, or other medical professionals, arrive.
This HSE recognised emergency first aid at work cause is taught by experienced, qualified trainers, the course can be delivered either on-site at your place of work, or as an open course at a local training venue. The course leads to a nationally recognised qualification that’s valid for three years, even if you change employer.
The emergency first aid at work course covers the most common health and safety incidents you may be faced with as a first aider, including:
- The use of available equipment
- Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Treating an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
- Choking
- Wounds and bleeding
- Shock
- Minor injuries
- Preventing cross infection
- Recording incidents and actions

First Aid at Work
We can deliver the First Aid at Work training course at you workplace for a group of delegates from three to twelve. The cost quoted is a course price. If you wish more than twelve staff to be trained please contact us for a quote. The training is Certificated and is recognised by the HSE and the certificate lasts for 3 years. The training is over 3 days and includes Automated External Defibrillator Training

How to find us
The Dorford Centre, home to Dorchester Baptist Church, is located next to the Top of Town roundabout in the heart of the historic county town of Dorset.
From Yeovil on the A37, after passing the village of Charminster on your left, you come to a main roundabout which is the northern end of the Dorchester bypass. Take the first turning off the roundabout and you will soon come to a hill with flats on your right, take the third exit on the roundabout at the top of this hill and we are on your left.
From Poole on the A35, after driving over Yellowham Hill on dual carriageway you will eventually come to a roundabout. Take the third exit towards Dorchester and continue straight through the town, passing the Corn Exchange on your right, until you arrive at a roundabout where you will see the Dorford Centre ahead and to your left.
From Weymouth on the A354, continue over the Tesco roundabout and straight on until you come to the traffic lights beyond the railway bridge. Turn left and go straight on at the next set of lights, with the Borough Gardens on your right. When you come to the Top of Town roundabout, turn left.
From Bridport on the A35, take the second exit on the Monkey Jump roundabout and follow signs through the Poundbury development to the town centre along Bridport Road, passing the County Hospital on your right. After a short distance, and just before a roundabout, you will see the Dorford Centre on your right.
