Why do I need fire safety training?
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005, and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 make it compulsory for all employees to be provided with basic fire safety training. They also create a requirement for a number of nominated members of staff to receive further fire marshal training or fire warden training in the event of a fire or other emergency situation.
