The 3 day first aid course is typically a Level 3 qualification, which is suitable for individuals who are designated as first aiders in the workplace Is there an assessment? You will be continually assessed throughout the three days to ensure you have understood each part of the course before we move on. To achieve HSE approved certification, you must also pass a formal assessment on completion of the course. Do we receive first aid certificates? Following a satisfactory final assessment, you will be awarded an HSE recognised certificate How long does a first aid certificate last? It is valid for three years even if you change employer during that time. How often should first aid training be carried out? In general, it is recommended that first aiders undergo refresher training annually to ensure their knowledge and skills are up to date.
